LD10 Side Light wanted

Post by grahamemmett »

I'm desperately seeking a part for a Lanchester L10 for my dad, it's the offside light unit, I have scoured the internet and wondered if you knew of anywhere that specialised in these parts. I'd really like to find it for my dad for his birthday as the car has been fully refurbished bar this, thanks in advance,.

New replacements never bought any.
But used are available on ebay which would be the original Lucas LD109 these are common to several makes of car , would say new and old would be found at a good Auto jumble

They could join us LD10 owners on here which would be nice car and owner are pictured on here .

It looks remarkably similar to the Lucas LD209 sidelights fitted to my 15, which are very difficult to find.

Here's a cheaper type of LD109 replacement: https://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/produ ... 09-pattern
Best wishes, Dave B

Dave B just done a check and a pair is £82-00 and free postage it seems and says made in England which was a surprise, but for one yours being £44-00 with postage charge so guess the buyer yet again has to decide.
A screw is not shown on the rim so not a 100% the same

Thanks Team! I've updated the enquirer who was grateful and it turns out already a member of the DLOC but didn't know of the forum.
