Trafficator Chrome Cover

Post by theoldman »

Help..........whilst replacing the (broken) orange lens on one of the Conquest trafficators, the tab at the end which hooks around the top of the unit decided to snap off.................

Does anyone have a spare lying around, please?

Beer vouchers in exchange.......................... :D

Thanks

Neil,

Are you sorted ?

(sorry for late reply, I thought I had already posted - can you confirm its same arm as used on Consort and Special Sports ?)

I'll have a look, as I'm sure there are some bits in a box somewhere !!

It's the "80" type as fitted to about 95% of postwar cars, David.

I'm a bit jarred off as I was SO careful with the lens, the ends of which will snap as soon as look at them!!!

I've "improvised" a temporary repair so that at least it works...............

The trim is 7 3/8" long by 1/2" at the wide point, excluding the tab.

Cheers
