Lucas LD109 sidelight

Post by Sid »

I need a pair of reflectors and lens for the Lucas LD109 sidelight as fitted to the Lanchester LD10. It's been suggested that a replacement torch reflector could be used, but I'm having no luck finding a suitably sized one. Help anyone?

Sid,

Look in line - Holdens appear to offer repros, but maybe try e-bay for original / nos.

(have a look at which other vehicles use the same lamp, and then check their marque specialists)

Yes I've been looking at repros but I didn't want to go with that option first. I've got the chrome bits which are in good condition so I'm going with replacing the innards first. I've got an e-mail alert for ebay so if anything comes up I'll know straight away.

The reflectors are not chrome finish just a zinc/silver colour so even if you are minus these guess you could find something that would work, have looked at 6 i have and they all look the same finish will check on the others i have.
Torpedo sidelights you can buy a new lens to replace any damaged or missing sod's law they seem not to make new for the LD109, did they make a painted sidelight for tractors about the same size.
