rubber rocker gaskets

Post by New Dexter »

In response to a plea from one of our "senior" members he has asked me to post this link. Just copy and paste into your browser, I have checked and it does work, you will see an ebay entry for rubber rocker gaskets. I couldn't find any "attach a link" on this site

Not sure if these were the ones recently supplied by David Manners but they weren't found effective in use and despite careful fitting leaked oil so we went back to cork with no problems.

My experience of a pair of these from Barry Thorne 3 years ago was the same as Simon's. They were too small and despite trying various methods to stick them to the rocker covers I could not get them to stay in place, so reverted to cork gaskets eventually with relief (they work!) and having wasted a fair amount of time.

Regards

Geoff
