Does anyone have a spare brake disk for a 1968 Daimler V8.
It doesn't need to be in good condition as it's just for a template.

Many thanks for the information. The person in need is looking at getting some custom drilled/ grooved to a higher specification.

Marcel..lots of choices.. try one of the many Jaguar Mk2 specialists.. drilled and slotted rotors are available..but frankly they not make much of an improvement and not worth the price in my opinion.
The most effective upgrade to front brakes comes via fitting a 4 piston caliper set up .. In UK the 'coopercraft' conversion is likely most readily available ( stocked by SNG Barrat) in both iron and alloy calipers.. in USA the 'wilwood' conversion is easiest to source.. currently on sale @ XKS unlimited.. $571 for the bolt in kit.. (as of Oct 5th '18) they ship internationally.
the CooperCraft is a 'cleaner' installation as there are no adaptors.. calipers bolt right in.. and you can also simplify and eliminate some parts by fitting to flex hose straight into caliper. ( you need to install with the fluid inlet uppermost, shorten the threaded bit on the flex hose and add a copper washer)

Many thanks for the information but the person I am trying to help still wants to investigate the local company who make custom set ups.
I know he already is running 4 pot calipers.
