Re: SU Type HV 2 Wanted
Hello Al,
Happy new year.
I take it no joy or should I say possible joy with the list of suspects that were mentioned on your previous thread ??
If useful, I can give the advertising editor at CMM a call tomorrow and get a wanted ad up & running - no charge by them as we know each other.
The advert will not be out until the end of January but it is at least an option if you have not located one.
Let me know.
Have you looked at The Automobile magazine as a possible source ?? Perhaps you already subscribe to that ??
Additionally, contacting the MG Club that deals with that era of MG may be forthcoming with a result / line of enquiry - just some ideas.
Regards.
Richard.

Re: SU Type HV 2 Wanted
Hi Alan.
Happy New Year to you and I hope your search for a HV2 is sucessfull
This site in Australia has some detail as to which cars were fitted with the HV2 I came across it when searching for a HV4.
https://classiccarbs.com.au/index.php?_ ... 00.RKSU40-
Seems both the HV2 and HV4 were used in some obscure vehicles and often in pairs, that makes for a difficult search and explains the shortage of available units. Good Luck.

Re: SU Type HV 2 Wanted
Thanks chaps, yes the HV 2 was fitted to the MG M Type ,as you said in pairs, even though they do seem to be very hard to find.
Cheers. Al
