Can the SP rev counter be converted from mechanical to electronic ?. If so how.

I don't think that this is possible directly since the original SP 250 rec counter has a mecanical clockwork.
The only idea I have is to take a Daimler V8 saloon rev counter and corresponding electric adapter for the distributor where the signal is coming from.
To get the same appearance you might change the dial. Both have the same diameter. Howver the V8 saloon rev counter has no bulbs for the indicator. So it will only by 90% perfect.
