Does anyone have a V8 fanbelt idler wheel/ tensioner assembly (located adjacent to the water pump) that they would be willing to sell to me.
Mine has a stripped thread and I urgently need a replacement as I have a show to attend next weekend 5th June.

These are available from David Manners or SNG Barratt, and probably others, so you should have no trouble being back on the road for next weekend

Thanks for your reply, I did find them eventually. However, I got lucky and a Daimler owning friend nearby had a spare, albeit broken. Luckily we were able to make one good one out of the two and the car was ready for the show at Thornton Dale on Sunday.
