"Prospective Purchasing"

Post by Stan Thomas »

I am in the throes of inventing a completely new hobby, which I have called "Prospective Purchasing" - and would welcome any ideas to develop its format.

It goes like this - When theres nothing on the box and/or its raining or your bored silly - just log on to Ebay or such and choose a "car" ad to contact - and then see what is the silliest twaddle they give for selling, with the view to exchanging the most ludicrous stories on the Forum.

The idea came to me when I 'phoned about a modern Daimler some while back, which the man disclosed he had only a week - but said he was selling it because he realised it would be a shame for the car if his kids put their fingers all over the polished woodwork.

Honest!

I'm sure someone has similar stories.
