2020 DLOC Calendar available by post Now or at the NEC next weekend

Post by grahamemmett »

As many of you noted, the club didn't produce a calendar last year - well now that's rectified with this year's being the result of the photographic competition. Fabulous photos of your favourite cars!
They are available to order on the club website now so get over there NOW! .......... https://www.dloc.org.uk/shop
Or pick one up for £10 from our stand at the NEC Classic Car Show next weekend

And if you want a calendar full of SP250s, more details shortly on the 2020 SP250 calendars, in either wall or desk formats.

We will have them at the NEC Classic Motor Show and will deal with postal orders after that.

I received my calendar today and the photos are excellent. Thank you Graham and all the contributors.

The gentleman's toy box looks unused, so either the car has never had any maintenance or the owner keeps another set of tools under his seat :D

Someone can't spell photograph  potograph

Would someone please list the car models as I'm having difficulty recognising some of them from the rear?

For that kind of answer you'll be lucky to get last year's calendar. :D

BSA's missing again? We must not forget our previous owner company who produced fine cars.

2020 Calendar, here are my guesses.
Cover - Daimler 15, possibly by Mulliner, like my Dad's car, see here http://www.broadchalke.info/burrough/familycars.php . Correction, Ranald is correct, it says Lanchester on the wheel hub!
Inside cover - Daimler Double Six
January - Daimler Special Sports
February - Daimler DS420
March - Daimler but I think it's not a DB18 but could be a special on the same chassis
April - Daimler 15 but unknown body type
May - Daimler DB18
June - Lanchester LA10 like Alan Wheatley's car
July - Daimler SP250 and Daimler Consort or DB18 Correction, Ranald is correct, it's a Conquest like December
August - Daimler E 3.5 (I cheated by looking up his membership details!)
September - Daimler Double Six (no need to cheat here)
October - Daimler Special Sports
November - Daimler 2.5 V8s with wide bumper, V8-250s with narrow bumper.
December - Daimler Conquest Century

Any corrections?
