I know I am a bit past it but I am not sure what you are talking about as my Mac just leave the red SP and dash board. Do I have to do anything to get it to work.

Try refreshing the page, or logging out and logging in again, then wait as the photos change at eight second intervals.

On my screen, some pics cut off the LHS where it says "Daimler"

You're right, it's when a small computer screen or tablet is in portrait mode, the image isn't shrinking to fit.

It may mean that I have to abandon the animation and just have a single photo. Edit: I've just checked with a single photo and that also gets cut off at the sides in a small window. I'll have to choose images with more space at the sides and keep the text away from the sides.

It seems that phpBB haven't thought about the situation where people use their own header images.

Edit: I've re-done the header with some different photos which give a little more space at the sides for narrow screens but smart phones will still lose part of the titles. I've also altered the intervals to ten seconds.

Hi Tried logging in and out no joy. The red Dart looks very much like Margarets with the chrome Daimler badge on the glove box. So have I somehow put my own header on. The only other dart I know with the badge was the ex David Nancavil one with was original sourced from the same person as Margarets.

John

Until yesterday I had the original photograph arrangement, but this morning I now have the changing selection of superb photographs. I particularly like the inclusive selection of subjects very much, with the early Daimler commercial, pre and post war car models and of course the Ferret. Thank you.

Would a suitable further addition to the selection perhaps be the incomparable Pebble Beach concours winning restored Corsica bodied Double Six drop head?

Cheers

Geoff

Yes, I'll bear that in mind. I'll change the header from time to time, I'll try to get a mix of members' cars and others, but a lot won't be suitable.

I think they will be copyrighted, but I'll have a close look at the webpages. I can't see one from Wikimedia Commons which are designed to be copyright free. Even the Flickr photos have a copyright symbol.
