Some replacement parts for my car that I have had made, may be of some interest.
Not sure if the files are too large I tried to upload more!

Re: EL 24 New Parts
Hi Ron. Some nice work there, are you bashing the metal parts out of flat steel with a hammer and dolly or have you machines to assist?

Re: EL 24 New Parts
Syd, I have done most of the woodwork myself but had to get help with some of the tricky parts though.
Fortunately I have a friend who's metal panel work is first class, it is great to watch him working the old
English Wheel and other hand tools to get things to bend and curve to fit.
I now have all the wood and metal rot out of the car, replacement wood has been Ash, Walnut and Teak.
The original was the usual Ash and two large Walnut blocks with every angle and curve you could imagine
they are part or the front door set-up. Some of the Ash was well shot with water I used Teak replacement
parts that are near the ground under front doors.

Re: EL 24 New Parts
Hi Ron, Sorry I went on holiday and left this topic hanging.
I was wondering how you achieved those curves, I have bashed a few panels out by hand, but a good machine workshop makes all the difference, he has certainly made you up some great new panels.

Syd I have been very fortunate in finding Ian the panel beater he only lives 10 miles from me!
He is self taught and his first work was on an old Thames Van he had when he was 18 year-old.
I will try and post some pics when he has fixed his panels on the car.
