Nice Early Daimler (1910)

Nine seater Landaulette body built by Vivian Lewis Ltd of Adelaide on a British chassis. It has a 38 hp, 4 cylinder, 6.5 litre sleeve valve engine. It has dual ignition provided by a magneto and trembler coil. The gearbox has three speeds as well as reverse. While Daimler cars at this time usually had worm drive rear axles, this one features a bevelled drive differential suggesting it was built specially for colonial conditions.

It was designed to be driven by a chauffeur and features numerous luxury fittings and upholstery for passengers available in 1910 to only the very wealthy.
