I opened the original photo file and then used the resize option on that program, but can't remember now which program it was!! I think it was probably an 'Office' product.
I did have several attempts to get it the right size though, and I currently think it's too small, although before that the file size was too big.

if you reduce the longest edge of the photo to 100 pixels it should come out ok
