I subscribe to the Classic Motor Monthly, I'm sure there's an advert in there for steering wheel refurbishment. I'll dig last months out and have a look.

A web search will throw up several - I assume you're after a personal recommendation?

Yes, it would be better if it were someone whom a forum members couuld recommend, rather that google "the usual suspects"

Neil I have had my wheel done to a good standard it was a while ago and can't readily remember the Co name offhand,
will look tomorrow and let you know.

Is the Lorry a K2 or K4, spent most of my free time as a boy with my Father on the road with a K4, it shared the same
garage as my EL24.

Thanks, Ron, much appreciated.

It's a K2 two - tonner. I think the same mechanics went in the K4.

She cruises along quite happily at 40 - 45 but NOISY!!!!!! need to wear ear defenders. What with that and the further noise from the straight cut gears.....................

Sorry Neil I haven't had a chance to dig the paper out. If someone else has got a personal recommendation you'd probably be better off with that. Let me know if you still need the info.

Neil this subject was discussed on the old forum, may be worth a search there.

Neil.
The Austin 10 Drivers Club magazine advertises a company see link
http://www.steeringwheelrestoration.com/home
I dont know them personally and I hate companies who hide behind .com as this one does. But I have started a thread on the ATDC forum requesting if any member has experience of this company, will let you know if I get a result. Syd

Seems this company is in Ramsgate and quoted £275 + VAT + Carriage for an Austin 10 wheel, so a bit hefty and as such no one as far has had their wheel done by them, so no info on how good the results are.
