Rear Axle Oil
What is the current thinking and recommendation for an appropriate oil for worm drive axles, as according to the information I have to-hand, a GL-2 spec gear oil is no longer available?

Millers were really helpful when I needed to replace DB18/2 axle oil. They gave a really quick response and I ended up with AG140.

Re: Rear Axle Oil
Thanks lad for the info.
I've found a firm called Lancashire Oils market a GL-1 straight 140 oil for £20 per 5 litres with free delivery, and they have confirmed it is O.K. for "yellow metals" (ii.e. bronze worm axles) Sounds a good deal - and of course also ideal to lube the chassis points.

Sorry, that should rear "thanks lads" in the plural.
