Kamasa Trolley jack seal

Post by New Dexter »

I have a 2 1/4 ton Kamasa trolley jack which has been working well for years until the top seal began to leak. Prising it out and sending it to a company that can make seals they were unable to help
I have spoken to The Tool Connection who were very helpful, even calling me back when they thought they had some seals but seals for the jack I have are not available

The o/d is 44mm, internal is 32mm and the depth is 9.37. The company to whom I sent the original seal were unable to discern any numbers, commented that it was a metal seal and despite being used to seal a ram (uni-directional) is fitted with an internal spring as a hub seal would.

I would rather not throw the jack into the metal skip but I am running out of options. Does anyone have any good ideas please?

Look up your local hydraulics supplier/repairer, someone such as Pirtek. They should be able to help. Where and which country are you?
