Glue

Post by NickDeAth »

I have made all new panels for my Consort boot and covered them with leathercloth using Evo-Stick.
I have a couple more pieces of leathercloth to stick on the inner wings in the boot.

With Evo-Stick you really only get one chance.

Can anyone suggest a glue that will allow me to fiddle with the position of the leathercloth before it goes off?

I would use a spray on fabric glue for sticking leather cloth to board.

Thanks for the suggestions Gents.

I thought about Copydex but didn't know about it's long term staying power with fabric on metal.

Thixofix looks good.

I'll give it some more thought.

Thanks again.

Nick,
I always use Copydex for fabric on to other material. It does give you some "slide time" and once cured, it's VERY strong.
