Antifreeze specific gravity

Post by Phillmore »

As the impending cold weather approaches again I thought I'd check the SG of water in the coolant systems with a standard brewing hydrometer. The problem is all the conversion charts on line seem to give different figures! Anyone know of a definitive chart showing the correct SG for a given antifreeze mix and freeze protection? I realise the temperature of the sample is critical but the charts still seem to vary widely.
