Has anyone bought a new (or NOS) tool roll for storing spanners recently. Any recommendations? Thanks, Ranald

I'm sure Adrian Hanwell had some made - I don't know whether he still has any.

I bought a suede one from Classic and Sportscar about 25 years ago - complete with tools. Still using it but sadly I can't find anything similar available on the internet now.

I assume you're after something specifically original Daimler or Lanchester Ranald, since googling will reveal literally hundreds of tool rolls suitable for car or workshop use - everything from cheap canvas with rubber bands to best quality leather with straps and plated buckles.

I recently bought one of these for my SP. Cheap and cheerful it does the job and holds all I need securely.

I believe they are available for the SP250. Thinking many are made of a similar material and could be sown up given a suitable pattern.

This sort of roll is easy to find on eBay and surprisingly good quality. I bought several recently to sort and store a collection of old tools of various kinds.
