I started this topic about my KA which has an MOT running out soon. Surprisingly Ford gave me a booking for a service and MOT very quickly for today, but failed to fetch the car as promised.

However, after I booked the car's MOT the gov has extended MOTs for three months so I will try to book the car again later. I haven't found out why Ford failed to fetch my car today but they may have closed.

Hi Peter, yes your absolutely right, in fact both of my cars are stored in a friends large garage, I intend to repaint the whole of the underside and Suspension etc on the MG , as for the Lanchester, being parked in front of the MG allows me to be able to take her outside as I did last week and allow her to warm thru thoroughly.
I suppose I could drive to my local Tesco store to pick up some shopping , but as my partner has her own car , I usually accompany her, then sit in the car while she does the shopping , well it gets me out of the house for a while.
One thing I resist doing, is actually entering the shop with her , as I’m over 70 so I am probably classed as being ‘ at risk !!” so best to stay outside !! 😂😂
Stay well my friends , best wishes, Al 😊😊😊
