The car is a Two-door dhc built by Salmons and Sons the Tickford Coachbuilders. It would have been built in late 1939 or early 1940 after which Salmons went over Salmons went over to War work.

The model is quite rare as I only have nine examples of the 1938-9 Salmons Tickford built Daimler DHCs in the Register.

I don't think it exists any longer- we had an enquiry in asking if we could identify it for a gentleman who was obviously working on his family tree!
