HT Lead Connectors - 1930s Lanchester

Post by ranald »

I'm thinking about replacing my car's HT leads. I was going to use The Distributor Doctor but he can't supply the same fitting as I have at present. He says "They look like Military screened type connectors as used on Landrovers & radio trucks etc , not something we have sorry..". I attach a photograph. Can anyone tell me where I can get new HT leads made up with the same fitting? Maybe someone will tell me that another arrangement is better. Any advice gratefully received!

If they are, indeed, military spec, I'd try Marcus Glenn

...but why not revert to a more normal pattern? If you've no radio fitted, you'll probably not need RF suppression.

Good luck!
