Classic Car Friendly Inn - Cumbria

Post by soaringace »

Had an interesting chat at the NEC Restoration Show with the owner of the The Fat Lamb Country Inn, Crossbank, Ravenstonedale, Cumbria, CA17 4LL.

I have no connection with it and haven't stayed there, but they are keen to get classic clubs and individuals there and can even arrange interesting local driving routes. Discounts available for classic car club members.

The guy seemed very genuine and last year they apparently hosted the Practical Classics magazine Winter Challenge.

Hello Alan,
Hope you are well and still smiling as you always are.

I have been to the Fat Lamb while on tour with the LAC. (Lancs auto club) and was very pleased with the reception and hospitality shown from the inn. I can recommend any kind of visit whether it be while passing or for a club gathering.
Colin,
I may be slow but I’m rough as well !
