Had to work at the railway this morning, but made an effort and drove there in the Conquest!
North Norfolk CVC were starting their run to Holkham Hall in the car park. Over 100 lovely beasts from "fairly new" MkIII Escorts to a lovely old Talbot and everything in between.
There was one Daimler, an XJ Coupe, XJI 77 - anyone lay claim?
On the way home I saw
1. A Morris Minor and a Mini parked up at Cromer
2. Passed a Triumph Spitfire in a lay bay.
3. Met several old motor bikes, a Mercedes 220, maybe a 250 on the "K" and what looked like a Morgan V Twin and a Bedford Van on the way.

De#rive it Day
Normal for Norfolk
Re: De#rive it Day
I went to Wilton House "Wake Up" which was incredibly busy. Cars filled the North Quadrangle by 8.15am, later double parked down a tree-lined avenue, filled the public car park and filled a car park the other side of the road.
I think it may have been partly the fine weather, partly because there was a Hill climb event at Broad Chalke, partly because these classic car events have got much more popular recently and partly because it was a Drive It Day.
No pre-war cars, several 1950s and 1960s cars like Sunbeam Tiger, Lotus Elan, Healeys, MGB, but 80% were supercars belonging to Wessex Car Club members, like Ferraris, Maseratis, Aston Martins, lots of AC Cobra replicas, TVRs, Morgans, etc. No Daimlers, Lanchesters or BSAs except my Dart. Morgan, below. My father had a Morgan, but it was nothing like this! This, below, was in Lord Pembroke's museum. He is selling his Bugatti Veyron and has replaced it with this, below. What is it? Outside my local pub there was an ordinary-looking black estate car which I was told had a 350BHP six cylinder engine and was used as a pit car or pace car in F1 races. A wolf in sheep's clothing.

It's a Koenigsegg - a CCX I think.

A what? Never heard of it, and I knew it wasn't a car I recognised.
Re: De#rive it Day
Went to Ripon Race Course today and saw three Darts and two V8 saloons
Sadly none of the older stuff.
Also saw a metallic green Dart parked outside a pub along with a traction engine happily hissing away while the driver had a pint. There was also a red veteran car on a trailer but I don't know what type.
