Hi Chaps, have some revisions to the Club stand this weekend Iβm afraid. (16th &17th June)
Still have the 21hp Tourer, but the 20 Hp Limoisine and Kevin Bennettβs Daimler LQ3/20 are unable to attend for various reasons.
So, Peter Russell has kindly offered to step in and bring his lovely Daimler 15hp, and I shall be bringing my Lanchester Eleven .
Hopefully meet up with some of you there
Cheers Aβl

It's always a pleasure to see your LA11, Alan, because it's always so well presented!
I can understand why people offer a car for a show and then drop out for personal or mechanical reasons. You have to be there early on the first day and then get someone to take you home and back again the next day.
Would it be easier to find cars that don't run, preferably old ones, and take them there on a trailer, then the owner has a car to go home in and doesn't need to stay there all day? I can think of a non-running DB18 quite close.
You're doing a grand job

I do already have one booked, thatβs John Rossiterβs Lanchester E18, Jonn has done a superb job restoring what can only be desribded as a β basket case β
Itβs incredeble what he has achieved , and one must applaud his dedication and single mindedness, in restoring this very rare motor car !!!!

Hi Alan
What!!! you expect the board to support events with display material, literature, merchandising and old magazine. You are living in the past son it has not happened for years.
Good luck for your future events I can only see things getting worse.
Regards
Colin

It is in the interests of the Club to support such events. I sometimes helped Bob and Cath at Beaulieu and the NEC having good display material, Merchandising etc plus some old magazine to give away actually involved the public to a considerable extentent and got a few new numbers for the Club.
