windscreen rubbers

Post by Marcel Renshaw »

There are plans to make screen rubbers for the Daimler DB18 with opening windscreen (which probably fits the DB17 and some 15's and Lanchester cars).
Also planned is the Daimler Conquest and Century and the Majestic and Majestic Major.
For these plans to become reality it will need owners to commit to buying.
Anyone interested please contact me and I will forward your requirement to the person planning these vital parts.

Marcel, pardon my ignorance, this might be a daft question, but I am not familiar with the DB 18 or the other models you refer to.

Are we talking the rubber which seals the screen to the body on models with opening windscreens? If so and if it is the same on a 1937 15 then I could be interested. Syd

John Nash can only sell them to DEC members if he has any stock left.

Hi Marcel, I would be interested in the screen rubber for a DB18/2. Do you need any other details?

Hello Marcel,

I'm interested when the windscreen rubber fits my 1933 Daimler 15 Sports Coupé, even when I have to short the length and vulcanize the shorted ends.

Kind regards
Rolf

The rubber for the DB18 fits the windscreen from and close's onto the body.
