Why is he promoting watches for SP 250's?

I can understand having a watch to time how long it takes for something like a Conquest to rust away - but why would you need one if your car has a fibre-glass body??

Perhaps because the SP250 has no clock fitted as standard unlike most other Daimlers. The Conquest clock is not the most reliable so maybe these watches are in keeping.

Out of the two, I preferred the watch on the previous page, but I haven't worn a watch for decades so that rules me out either way

A sticker placed on a dial with a decal and some resin poured over it to antique it. really?
Nothing like the previous tries with the green dials.
Do the UK workings give it any authenticity or credibility?
