A friend has asked me to sell off his collection of Daimler and Lanchester books.
The collection includes Daimler Days, The Daimler tradition blue and red version. Royal Daimlers. Daimler 1896 to 1946 signed copy. Lanchester Legacy signed copy plus some other books.
They will be listed on eBay in order to achieve the best price for him.

I did see however some chancer selling the Club’s 50 year book for £39.95 when it’s £10 on the club website!

Still too expensive for me.
I have bought them on CD for a fraction of that, very handily you can search for a word, model or whatever. Very clever. But of course, handling the paper is still a delight, even if you can't find the darn thing you are looking for!

I love books, but not at that monetary level.

Pooks are selling Daimler Days Vol 1 & Vol 2 @ £595, Clarendon Books also have a set for sale @ £495.

I'd expect that from those 2x sellers.

You only need to browse eBay for some of the Daimler WSM and handbooks etc that are being pitched - prices that are completely aspirational.

I guess a sellers belief is: a fool and his money are soon parted.
