SP250 Tonneau cover

Post by Vortex O'Plinth »

I've an original SP250 tonneau cover in black Everflex for sale. It was removed from a 1963 'C' spec car in 1980 and has been in storage ever since. It's not perfect but is in very good condition. There are no tears, all the Tenax fasteners are present and the zip still functions perfectly. There are a few surface marks which should be easily removable with a good scrub.
I don't have the room indoors to photograph it fully open - and it's still pouring with rain outside - so the attached piccies show both sides with it folded.

A modern reproduction with a lower attention to detail will cost you at least £250, so if you need a tonneau this is yours for £50 + p&p.

To anyone interested in the purchase of the Tonneau I would advise letting it getting to at least room temperature and possibly higher, say 25 to 30 degrees when it comes to fitting. This should help it become more supple when first fitting and easing the operation.
Colin,
I may be slow but I’m rough as well !
