Dart / V8 suppression kit

Post by SteveW62 »

Guys,

There's a Radio interference ( Suppression ) kit, for the Dart / V8 , for sale on Ebay just now.

I've never seen one of these for sales before. It will be interesting to see the final price.

Here it is => http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331783488234

I have no connection to & do not know who the seller is.

I suspect quite a few of us SP owners have got this collection of tinware buried somewhere in the garage Steve. They were largely ineffective and I don't think they were ever originally chromed - mine ended up 'Hammerited' - but as you say, it'll be interesting what they go for. Maybe I'm sitting on a fortune!

Final price was a quite amazing £232.70

At todays exchange rates that is 295,24€ in metric units ( or the currency that most of us "mainland" Europeans use )

I had a set made up of aluminium in the early 70's and they worked well, mine were rubber lined as I could see that jumping sparks were a likely problem

As I see it, it is all about what music you like.

The suppression kit won't affect that
