I have been asked recently on a couple of occasions how many Briggs cars are left

so here are the stats as am aware of to date:-

for the UK:-

I currently have 74 Briggs known registered with the DVLA

19 of those are currently taxed as roadgoing
9 are Sorned
17 are Untaxed
29 have not been taxed since the DVLA was digitised and as such are designated not taxed for road use

I also have 72 Briggs in other countries as these are known as follows:-

Australia = 32
New Zealand = 11
Tasmania = 4
South Africa = 4
Germany = 3
Poland = 3
Holland = 3
Norway = 2
Portugal = 2
Denmark = 2
India = 2
Sri Lanka = 2
Bermuda = 1
Czech Republic = 1

Approximately 22 of these are roadworthy
