Hello Steve,

Have you tried contacting the DB18 DLOC Registrar ??

Who I believe is Graham Emmett and he posts on the Forum frequently; a top chap and very helpful - hopefully Graham may be able to assist.

Regards.

Hi Steve
All the build records were destroyed in WW2 but from the chassis number we can give you an approximate date. I’m assuming you’ve no other documentation like the V5 or old log book.
The chassis number is in two places, on a brass plate fixed on the passenger side of the bulkhead and on a plate secured to the top face of the chassis under the steering tube. It’s also stamped on many major components.
You’ll find a wealth of information on www.DB18.org

Let me have the chassis number.

Best regards
Graham

Hello Steve,

The Brass plate on the bulkhead will also give you the Body number, another plate below gives the Axle number. You will find that fellow owners may be able to help with any problems with the car
