I notice the ad claims photos are from the last few weeks although they look identical to the ones featured on the original ebay advert, which was surely more than a year ago now.

It has obviously had a bit of tidying up since the last pics, eg the rimbellishers are now not rusty!!!!

Hmm, they still look a bit spotty to me. Nice car though.

yes looks nice, but the thing is the MoT history suggests it has been seriously rusty underneath in the past. It would need to be thoroughly checked.

Re when the photos were taken, do you think it's possible for the photographer's reflection in the paintwork to be identical in position and pose to those seen in the original advert months ago? Yes, the wheel rimbellishers are still very spotty in the closer views too.

Can this vendor be trusted at all??

Regards

Geoff

It might be a bit unfair to assume he's being entirely dishonest, he may have re-used his original ebay listing in its entirety, hence the reference to recent photos, when the piece was originally written they were; however if he's added that lately, then it does make the whole sale seem suspect.

Ended again unsold. A shame I think as values like this will put off many future potential owners. There is a lot of hype about appreciating classic car values and everyone would like to see the value of their asset improve over time regardless of whether they plan to sell it or not. I suppose it shows how far out of favour certain models are.

I just broke one up for parts.. limo version.. there are very rare..but he cost to restore wont come even close to realizable market value.. there another M major for sale locally..also a limo ..and its solid but needs cosmetics.. last ran 20 yrs ago.. it'll probably end up at the crusher due to lack of buyer.
