Looks nice. Not that long ago I would have said it was overpriced, but the market seems to have gone crazy over the summer and it now looks pretty good value I think.

I agree Mark. But an odd place to sell it

I meant selling on The Spinning Wheel - which isn't the most prominent site (in my opinion).
Perhaps there's a good reason for the owner to do so.

Yes, see what you mean. He's been a dealer for a long time, but lately seems to have branched out into general collectible stuff.

I might have a drive by. It's only about 9 miles from home.
It does look nice and it's about time the Consort attracted a higher price. A decent sized car that's great to drive but has always cost more to restore than retail value would allow. It might slow down the trade in banger racing them.

Harcel,
if you do see the car let me know if it is as good as it looks.

I believe he has a reasonable reputation as a dealer - never the lowest prices, but been around quite a while and I think has a few loyal repeat customers. Must be doing something right.

I'd paint it all black. Or at least the side moulding, bringing the black bit further down the side of the car. There's something very imposing about a Consort in black I think. Massive bargain compared to a Bentley Mk VI.

I had a ride down to see the Consort. Not a bad car, the black paint has lots of chips unfortunately. Not the best quality paint job for a car at that price, but the seats and headlining are good. It will probably spend its days doing weddings.
He also has a Daimler Majestic and a V8 for sale both in reasonable condition.
