The vendor describes this Daimler as being in outstanding condition. Finished in Lavender blue with French blue leather seats.

Supplied new to the first owner, a director of Windshields Ltd in Worcester and sold on when just two years old to Mr Griffiths. Mr Griffiths used the car for only a short period before laying it up due to the fuel shortages of the 1970’s energy crisis.

The car remained in storage until 2009 when it was purchased from the estate of Mr Griffiths by Mr Tebbett, a Garage Proprietor, with the intention of using the Daimler for weekend jaunts with his elderly father. We are advised that after spending nearly £15,000 on recommissioning and a quality bare metal repaint due to the old cellulose paint going flat, his father sadly never got to go in the car.

Currently showing a mere 47,000 miles, it is believed that the car has never been welded and retains all its original rust free panels, The interior trim looks absolutely fantastic and with a recent service and new clutch, drives very well indeed.

The car comes complete with current V5C, old style V5, original Daimler passport to service with eleven supplying main dealer stamps, user guides, hand books, leaflets and diagrams that would have been supplied from new. Heritage certificate. This late car is one of handful of Manual overdrive examples left.
