Daimler SP250 Dart, 1963. AUTOMATIC. Last family owners since 1989 whom we have known since the Seventies when the husband owned a Lotus Elan+2 locally to us. I have seen the car at dozens of classic car meetings over the last 28 years. Red with cream leather interior. Wire wheels. Having recently driven the car I can report that the automatic gearbox is nice and smooth and of course the legendary engine is in fine fettle indeed with its renowned smoothness. Body off chassis restoration a number of years ago with a photographic documented rebuild. Engine rebuilt at the same time. The car comes with it’s original number plate 250 GXM which marries up nicely with the 250 model number! This can be seen on the original “buff” logbook from 1963. The car is very genuine and would benefit from some leatherwork which we can do in-house if required. We have left it in it’s original state in case that is preferred by the new owner. Comes fully serviced and MOT’d.
