1967 DAIMLER SOVEREIGN 420, REGISTRATION NUMBER BVG 301E, METALLIC GOLD
A 1967 Daimler Sovereign 420, registration number BVG 301E, metallic gold. This beautifully presented Daimler has over covered a remarkable 53,500 miles from new with its three recorded keepers. The second of which retained the car for a noteworthy 34 years between 1983 and May 2017. Introduced with its sibling Jaguar 420 at the October 1966 London Motor Show, they offered all of Jaguar's trademark 'Grace, space and pace' outselling the iconic Mk II in 3.4 and 3.8 forms before the new XJ6 became available in late 1968. This handsome example is finished in a most attractive colour combination of metallic gold with a beautifully preserved and patinated red leather and walnut interior. The Daimler is fitted with power assisted steering and automatic transmission which emphasise the luxury feel and drive of the car. The Daimler is beautifully presented with chrome wire wheels shod with new tyres and has had plenty of expenditure lavished upon it including a respray and minor body repairs in 2000 (due to paint fading with age) a new head lining and carpets were fitted at the same time, a full brake overhaul in 2011 with new discs and calipers were fitted front and rear and new rear bushes were also fitted at the same time. The Daimler will be offered for auction with a history file containing previous MOTs, receipts and sundry paperwork. The somewhat overlooked 420 and Daimler Sovereign are becoming appreciated by collectors and enthusiasts and offer a much rarer and better value option to the Mk II. V5C, MOT to May 2018

I've lusted after Tony Saxton's 420 and I'm drooling over this one but can't afford it

You can see why ACA are so popular with their 5% buyer's and seller's commission, the 12% here would seem steep.
A nice looking car, I've always liked them in that colour.
