Low Mileage Conquest

Post by rodingo »

Together with the rather nice Empress at Brightwells on March 7th is a club members Conquest Auto with a reputed 21Kmiles. Can't be many about with that mileage although the mileage is unsubstantiated ( maybe the member /owner can post an authentication message). For some strange reason, there seems to be very little market out there for the Conquest ( unless it's a drop-top). I think the Conquest is a fine car, and like most Daimlers (Docker Models & SP250 Excepted) much under-valued, I would certainly buy another one now if a really good one came up through the club.Thing is, it's funny these cars never seem to appear in the club "For sale". I would have thought that would be the first place to try to sell for a good price to a fellow club member & save both the seller & the purchaser the auction costs, especially as auction houses charge so much these days. Am I missing something ?
