1960 SP AT BONHAMS

Post by AntonyB »

Just noticed a 1960 SP reg. 3785AD for sale at the Bonhams Goodwood Members Meeting auction this weekend.
http://www.bonhams.com/auctions/24874/l ... 10&page=11 - its lot 109 on the last page of the catalogue.
Car is in various shades of blue, and the rear seat has been fitted out as a carpeted 'parcel shelf'.

Classic case of right car wrong colour in my opinion, but each to his own.

Indeed it would be so much better with chrome wires and midnight blue!

Well just for completeness - Sold for £ 27,600 inc. premium, so not a great return on the costs spent on restoration - expect it may have already been booked in for a re-spray/make over, but as stated earlier by Sydsmith 'each to his own'.
