Very interesting project with a lot of potential in so many ways, would be a pity if that registration number was robbed.

Which of course it will be if the price is too cheap.

Pity about the old sleeve valve, which has probably gone the way of all things at least the kept the old gearbox. Syd

I inquired if the original sleeve valve engine was still available 12 nano-seconds after the ad appeared - but alas, it has been lost in the mists (well, smoke actually) of time.

Sad.

Just posted a question on this Daimler "Hearse" which I bought last year.
Number hasn't been removed !! Car is stripped to rolling chassis and I have
replaced all wood with new ash and not scaffolding planks and pine that it
came with.
The question is about how the power brakes work before I strip the unit down
and have bits fall out -can anyone help ?

Sorry John can't help you with your problem but so good to hear the old girl found a good home and has still got it's number. Got to be a very satisfying car to work on, especially if you could find a suitable Daimler engine. Good luck with your project. Syd
