Here's the link:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/1961-Daimler-S ... SwwoZa8PWX

This car has been for sale mainly listed on Craigslist in Orange County for the past 3 years.

I think some of the sellers BS in the advertisement would put potential buyers off -- a simple google search would highlight seller is lose with facts.

My 2 cents worth.

well yes.. always use the 'caveat emptor' outlook when buying a classic car.. there are far too many pitfalls so finding as much info and history as possible is always wise.. along with a 'personal inspection' or one done by an established credentialed expert..
I recently purchased one without personal inspection, (rare car..a question of go for it..or lose it) but had good communication with the seller, and enough info in the form of images of the most critical areas to take the risk.. furthermore I have a good idea of cars condition from when it was previously sold just a decade or so back ...although it has definitely suffered some cosmetic deterioration since..
