Re: daimler dart sp250 on UK ebay
This car is not a million miles from me in Aberystwyth.
I am not sure, but it looks like one that was for sale some time back under a different sellers name. If that is correct, I have seen the car and as he says it needs a lot of work.
I am more than happy to go and look if any one here would like an opinion before travelling or bidding.

Interesting. Did a bit of digging and yes it looks like the same chap and the other car he has is listed under his other seller name together with a hard top under another listing.

Don't let that put you off, John is a genuine chap and has a real love of SP250's but a bit of a wheeler dealer, has restored or part restored and sold a couple more in the past.

Re: daimler dart sp250 on UK ebay
John had another SP listed with a restored chassis and running engine but otherwise little more than a good body shell a pile of bits. It was listed at £12,500 and has been ended early so looks like it might have sold.
Despite what was said recently, the SP250 market still looks healthy, quite a few cars have come onto the market and there have been some particularly hairy prices over the past six months, but they appear to be selling still.
I was looking at an E type recently and despite its attraction, it had some really difficult restoration problems which will be very expensive to repair and will need a good body man to get right.
I guess the great advantage and attraction of the SP is that apart from the engine, there is not a lot that cannot be tackled by a good DIY restorer.
