Looks nice but £49k?
I suppose if someone wanted a fully sorted one with no work to do they might pay it.
Mine was up for sale for £30k. Got me thinking now. Ho Hum.

Thought afterwards, no mention of chassis in all the information. Pointless having shiny bits in order if spring hangers, etc iffy.

As with everything, a car is worth what someone will pay for it. Last Sunday I took my SP to a very nice little classic car show held in the centre of Cirencester...

The car attracted a lot of attention and a regular question was 'what's it worth'. My answer was as above - 'Whatever someone will pay' but I added that it's presently insured for an agreed value of £60K. This is not an assessment of its current market value but reflects the cost of a replacement restoration in the event that the car was written off. Nevertheless one spectator responded - apparently quite seriously - that he'd give me that now. Perhaps it was a touch of sunstroke. ;)

The car is not for sale, but it makes you think.....in the right place at the right time, who knows?
