Deceased estate - 1956 Daimler Conquest

Post by chrisbwy »

Dear Members,

As part of my late Father-in-Law's estate we have a 1956 Daimler Conquest to find a new owner for.
P1080511.JPG
According to the engine bay plate it is of type DJ 250 and is showing about 4000 miles (un-verified). We have one previous MOT dated 1978 which records the mileage at 3300. The V5C shows one previous owner, the first before my father-in-law, but we suspect my father-in-law bought it from somebody else locally not the original owner, so that makes three owners in total.

The car has been stored in a very dry garage for many years. We believe the previous owner was responsible for the body repairs but sadly took ill health before finishing the restoration.

The car is complete but we have not attempted to start it. A very tidy, solid and original engine bay. Underneath is very sound, no rust, just oil/waxoyl/underseal.

The interior is complete but a little tired.

The only items that are definitely missing are the rear light lenses - not sure why.

Asking price £1550

You are welcome to PM me at chrisgardnerhargreaves at yahoo.co.uk (0754 1026654)

Lots more photos available on request.

Car is located in Keighley, West Yorkshire. You are welcome and encouraged to view.

Note the V5C says "reg non-transferable"

Many thanks,

Chris Hargreaves
