What on earth have they done to that car? £475 seems quite reasonable given the thousands that would need to be spent. What a sad way to leave a Daimler

Sure it's a hearse body with the roof chopped off. It really is difficult to remodel cars and get the proportions and lines correct.

I would have no idea what to do with it. !

Someone obviously has an idea of what to do with it but perhaps, if the ash frame and body are in reasonable condition, a replica of the all-weather tourer that is owned by Peter Grant would be a possibility. It wouldn't be cheap to do but it would be lovely car. Ideal for weddings and just touring. Fitted with a towbar it could tow its own fuel supply, it would need it!

The person who could best assist with details on converting a hearse to an All Weather would be Mark Bearman in Western Australia.
Mark's late father had an extraordinary time with a car that had been badly damaged in a museum fire and he started the huge task of transforming it back to All Weather configuration after it had been converted from All Weather to hearse, so this would be like the motor manuals: "The reassembly is the reverse of the disassembly procedure".
