Somebody’s got a bargain there.
I know of a 4.5 litre V8 that’s for sale and might just fit under that bonnet!
But it would be a shame to spoil the purity.

Bid to £7100 on ebay but reserve not met, so it might still be for sale. Desperately old fashioned even in 1960, but undeniably elegant. I think the paint scheme suits it as well.

No, it didn’t sell but not too fussed ! I fancied trying to find a M.Major if it had sold but I’m quite happy to keep it pro tem. She was already entered to appear in the Goodwood Revival so I shan’t have to attend in a ‘modern’ after all !
