I believe it’s a members car.
Have a look at the Facebook page , to see a picture with it’s stable mates.
Lots of work done to complete a restoration, in which parts were lost etc. Looks nice now though.

Yes it belongs to a member in the north east.
The auctioneer’s guide price is seriously under valued (in my opinion)

Hi,
When I look at the opening Hohhot on the Bonhams site for the car the front wheel view looks odd. It is as if there is an inner guard missing because you can see right through the wheel arch to the body panel done in cream duco.
Is there a problem or is it my imagination?

Sorry, that should of course be "photo" not "Hohhot".

I have had an email back from the owner.
I had spotted the missing inner wings, and he tells me he is planning to fit them before the car leaves for Bonhams.
Given the wings are aluminium, and lots of flowing curves, I suspect the inners are necessary.
Hope it finds a loving new home.

Thanks all, I am really tempted by this car, but buying at an auction is daunting at the best of times, never mind the current situation. It does look lovely though.

Auctioneer's estimate 15,000 GBP - 20,000 GBP
If it sells for this low price it will be a tragedy
