Lanchester LA 11

Post by JT7196 »

Hi Chaps, just received a phone call from Patric Caulfield who is the current owner of a Lanchester LA Eleven that he now wishes to sell .
I am advised that the car is in very nice condition, but would probably benefit from some more light refurbishment, it has recently had Five new Tyres fitted .

He is looking for offers around £6,700 .
If you would like more details, you may phone him on the Tel No listed below, the Lanchester is located in Wexford S.E. Ireland, which is about 10 mins from the port of Rossair .

Hi Steve, no the original Red would have been darker, and of course the spare wheel cover would have been painted Black. There should also be Two Coach lines, the one shown, with another joining the single line from the Bonnet at the "A" Post, and going around the back just above the Spare wheel Cover.
Perhaps the pictures below will explain a little better .

Hi ,again, just returned from a nice trip down to Poole and back ,just for a day out , had slight problem when she completely lost power, turned out, that the Low Tension wire decided to part company at the Terminal on the Ignition Coil, sorted in about Five mins, then carried on taking in a visit to my old mates, Geoff & Anne Millington on the way.
Round trip of around 90 miles, and apart from that minor Hiccup, she went like a little bird !! Don't you just love driving these cars :?: :?: :?:
Cheers A'l :D :D :D

Thanks Al,
I only ask about the red/black paint job as I like that combination, but don't want to deviate from factory standard.
It is a Lanchester
