OUB 724 has turned up on ebay for sale in Helensburgh. Fortunately, it looks far from deceased :

That makes three of the last 20 cars within 100 miles of one another in the West of Scotland, for the time being.

Simon guess it went into hiding but what a nice car for a deceased one pity about the price , us LD owners had seen good prices now they have dropped like a stone.
Having done a check on here some LD10 owners have not logged on for more more than 2 years, we have lost the interest we once had surely they have not all sold the cars.
Peter

Looks as though, the car is no longer for sale - ended early ??
Peter - what is your opinion as to the dropping prices for this particular model ?? Is it a case they have fallen out of favour with just a few die-hards keeping the interest alive ??
I have noted a downturn in classic vehicle prices over the last eighteen months, a sign the market is cooling off and returning to normal in order that the true enthusiast can purchase a car rather than competing against an investor.
It appears that may pre-war vehicles are certainly suffering from a lack of buyers, as such we are seeing those asking prices dropping noticeably as a result.
Regards.
Richard.
